For the Glory of Hoksune I Duke Lisle have finished painting the Great, the Singular Molik Karn, caught in a Dramatic Pose mid-triumph after a successful confrontation with a Ogrun Bokur, who had been tasked with defending his client, a well known Searforge Warcaster. The Bokur fought honorably to the last, and was able to pierce Molik with the butt of his pole arm (a deadly blow for most!), but even such a horrific wound cannot slow the Mighty Molik Karn, who slit the ogrun's throat and cast him to the ground. Molik's bloodthirsty nature seizes him in this last moment, and he stands atop his toppled foe as the life bleeds out in the tawny, dusty stone beneath them. It is an age of strife in the Iron Kingdoms, an age of war, and none can strike such horror in the hearts of so many as the ferocious Molik Karn!     I hope a spear through the chest qualifies as this month's Money Shot!

Whelp Oath CompletedI hate this paint job. However, it should fulfill requirements for 'veteran' in the following way. Armor plates are intentionally red, then 'greyed' out. The long coat was painted in Cryx Bane Base to show that any sniper that joins the widowmakers and wants to remain alive, quickly removes all red and blends into cover as quickly as possible. Basing is Crushed Glass snow, which I threw about with little regard for my eyes or lungs, so this may be the last post I complete. Enjoy this hastily finished Widowmaker. ![]() Attachments:

AND THAT'S A WRAP FOR JANUARY! Lots of completed oaths, and the scorecard will be updated shortly, as will the Flickr set showing off all these lovely painted models! We had a few failed oaths, but do not fret! You have a chance at REDEMPTION! At any point this year, post a picture of fully painted models that were a failed oath, and you are entered into a year-end drawing! You can win prizes even for failing your oaths |

I hereby declare Tankard and the trio of earthy punishment as my January Judge award.
Considering the tools, speed, and results I believe this to be exceptional work. Clean stuido pallet, subtle yet supportive basing, controlled technique and most importantly prompt Oath and painting with clear pictures.
For greater consideration of Judge's Monthly Point, the better the pictures and perhaps description/discussion of your process will greatly improve your Oath in the eyes of a Pszito.
Please keep in mind the clarity of your photos and specifically legibility of the world timestamp will aid in slowing the decay of our vision. Don't be afraid to ctrl+ the zoom of your browser until the text of the clock is about all we see and try to focus so we can see both your models and the screen!
I am stoked by all the work already being shown, the energy thrown in for extras, money shots, and speed paints! It is never too late to enter into the fray nor redeem any missed Oaths! Remember to ask your painting friends if they like free stuff and get them to Oath! Dive in and lets fire off month two!
