Welcome to yet another month of OATHS! This is our 8th month of Oaths, and many of you are still hanging in there from the beginning which is awesome!    This month's MONEY SHOT is: Non-Metallic Metal! This is a rather advanced painting technique, and I thought I would turn it up a notch this month. This is the process of painting metals WITHOUT metallic paints! Smartly applied layers of grey and an understanding of dynamic lighting can create the illusion of shiny metals! I recommend you check out some of the many tutorials online to describe this process. I will be very lenient with this Money Shot, so an A for effort is possible, but feel free to go nuts. The extra Judge points will be going to the person who best exemplifies this technique. Now get painting!  |

Sorry that last pic is so huge... for some reason my computer at home won't let me shrink it down like the one at work does, so I don't want to put up the individual shots of the other two models in the unit. You can't tell from the pic but the rat things eyes are actually a different color than its body.
