In like a lion, out like a lamb is how the saying goes. But this March it's all lions all the time! Or more specifically... DRAGONS.  That's right, this month's Money Shot is:  DRAGON BLOODIt's common knowledge that the dragons of Caen are unlikely to be killed by any of the tiny mortals that we game with, BUT let's have some fun with it anyway! The 2 bonus points this month will be awarded for showing some kind of draconic influence OR convert your model to be a dragonslayer! LEGION MODELS DO NOT EARN THE BONUS BY DEFAULT, YOU NEED TO DO SOME EXTRA WORK FOR IT TO COUNT  Other March RulesMy birthday is on the 30th, so this month is Amnesty Month!This means that you may oath partially-painted models and they will count for points! There are some rules however: 1. If you only oath partially painted models, the minimum is upped to 3 models for a valid oath (you could do one unpainted and one partially painted as a valid minimum oath). 2. You may still do one unpainted model this month if you wish (but don't do that, this is a great chance to catch up on unfinished stuff!) 3. I will be fairly lenient on this, but don't try to pull a fast one by painting a mustache on an otherwise fully-painted model. Some other clarifications on oathage:If you are seeking any bonus points or Money Shots on your finished oaths, PLEASE declare that in your Oath Complete post! In bold. I'm using my judgment for February's posts, but going forward I will not award points unless you point these things out to me. Example: Oath complete! Money Shot! Whelp! The Gang's All Here!If you post a completed oath of a unit of dragonslaying badasses and it's your first oath and you don't have the above statements, no points! Apprentice!
Money Shot: Dragon Slayer (because only a dragon can kill a dragon!) Dramatic Pose
And, to accompany said dramatic pose, a little special something I like to call Ode to Hector the Shredder
They ran hungry under the winter sun
driven by need and a deadly hunger
pheromone rush; the weak, oh how they run!
a deadly chase; it won't last much longer
rabid shredders; bloodlust and dragon blood
Hector and his brothers, a deadly pack
they know what to do, the nyss are their food
burning village, the right time to attack
they fall upon the elves, razor teeth
viscera and gore, claws and death
nyss try to fight, futile; bloody wreath
bright crimson snow, a short final breath
but Hector didn't get to eat his fill
cannibal fury, another kill
(that's right, its a sonnet! Though I wouldn't look too closely at the stressed syllables)
